VFS Art Workshop – Sep 12, 2024

It was a joy to watch as the seniors immersed themselves in their artwork, inspired by the vibrant colors of the autumn season. Their artistic experiences came to life on paper, blending warm hues that reflected the beauty of the changing leaves.

For the memory care residents, the theme of fall colors brought an added layer of sensory engagement. They were particularly captivated by the texture of the materials, using soft brushes and their fingers to blend colors reminiscent of the autumn landscape. The sight of bright, warm tones forming on their canvases created beautiful, unique pieces that reflected their own perspectives. The sense of accomplishment on their faces was truly rewarding, as each senior contributed to a collective celebration of the season’s beauty. 

We extend our heartfelt thanks to our talented VFS art instructor, Avni Gala Chheda, whose thoughtful guidance and creativity made this session so memorable. A special thanks also goes to the volunteers Arpita Shah, Rita Mistry , Trupti Patel ji,whose kindness and support ensure that every senior had the assistance they needed to enjoy this experience to the fullest. Together, they created a warm and welcoming environment through art.
