Diwali Celebration at Lexington Community Center
We had a wonderful celebration of Diwali at the Lexington Community Center on Saturday, October 26, 2024! It was a truly joyful and colorful day, filled with the warmth of community spirit. Our seniors embraced the festivities whole-heartedly, enjoying each moment of this special gathering. The day was enriched by our talented singers- Manisha Parmar, Debashis Sengupta, and Mamata Bhattacharya whose beautiful melodies touched everyone; and by Ekta Jain and Geetanjali Virmani, whose lively dance steps encouraged seniors to join in the fun. Avni Gala Chheda led a wonderful Diwali rangoli art session, creating a space for self-expression through traditional art that everyone enjoyed.
A huge thank you goes out to all our volunteers. Your dedication and teamwork made every moment possible—from setting up to guiding activities and making everyone feel welcome and engaged. Each of you played an essential role in making this Diwali celebration a joyful success for our seniors. We appreciate your invaluable support and look forward to many more meaningful events together.
