VSF Collaboration with CycADA
Volunteering for Seniors is teaming up with CycADA Personal Metamorphosis. Dr. Angelina Avedano, a contemporary mythologist, writer, and professor, uses an imaginative approach to real-world experiences of grief, transformation, and the creative process. CycADA draws from her work as a contemporary mythologist, and focuses on the cycles of life, death, and rebirth. These cycles influence our creativity, healing, and personal transformation. Creativity is at the heart of her philosophy of vibrant living.
She earned a Master of Theological Studies from Harvard Divinity School, a Master of Arts in English from Boston College, and a PhD in Mythological Studies with emphasis in depth psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute.
