Today, May 14th was a blast at the VFS Bollywood dance workshop at Walpole Council on Aging!

The vibrant colors, melodious music, and graceful dance forms inherent in Indian weddings offer a unique opportunity for Walpole COA seniors to immerse themselves in a cultural celebration rich with tradition and joy.

More than just a dance, today’s workshop fostered a sense of inclusivity, unity, and cultural exchange, reminding us of all of the richness that diversity brings to our community. Let’s continue embracing and celebrating the wonderful tapestry of cultures around us!

A huge shoutout to our incredible dance instructor and volunteer, Ekta Jain for once again bringing her A-game and capturing the essence of an Indian wedding with vibrant dupattas, bindis, garlands and mehendi designs.

We couldn’t have pulled off this amazing event without the unwavering support and dedication of our VFS leaders, Geetanjali Virmani and Arpita Shah. Thanks to all of them for their tireless efforts in making today a memorable experience for everyone involved!
