The journey to finding your best self starts by giving your best self to others.
Ganesh Utsav is one of an important event that Hari Om Mandir and Yoga Center organizes every year and is attended by about 200-300 people in this area of Greater Philadelphia. Shloka Kari, a high school sophomore, and a passionate member of our VFS (Volunteers for Seniors), had set up a stall with handmade acrylic jewelry of ear rings, necklaces, anklets, bracelets and nails. She also baked brownies, chocolate chip , M&m cookies to raise funds and awareness about VFS. The GU committee also supported Shloka and VFS by providing a prime space in the booths for free and encouraging the youth talent and passions. The work in the stall was very appreciated and a good awareness about VFS was spread to the community.
Kudos to VFS Youth volunteer Shloka Kari for her dedication…We really appreciate your pitching in on raising funds and bringing about more awareness about VFS programs. You really did a wonderful thing!
